Families trust us with photos of the people they love, their memories and sometimes their voices. We treat all of it as private. We never sell it, never use it for advertising, and never show it to anyone except the people you share it with.

What we collect

We don't use advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site.

How we use it

Only to make, deliver and support what you ordered: writing and laying out the pages, sending you proofs and updates, printing, shipping and mailing, and answering your questions.

AI tools. To draft Memory Book captions and parts of the Weekly, we send the written text (your answers and photo notes, not your photos or recordings) to an AI provider (Anthropic) to help us write. The provider doesn't use it to train its models. A real person reads every page before you see it.

Who else handles it

A few trusted services do part of the work, and each only gets what it needs:

Who can see your book or paper

Your order lives at a private link that only you have. A family paper's share link lets anyone you give it to add news, so share it only with family. Voice notes in a Memory Book play from a QR code in the printed book, so anyone holding the book can listen.

How long we keep it

We keep your order's files for a year after delivery so you can order more copies, then delete them. Write to us any time and we'll delete everything sooner, usually within a few days. If a community or family subscription ends, we delete its details within 90 days.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@lavenderpost.com. Every email we send has a way to stop more.

Children

Lavender Post is for adults. Grandchildren appear in family stories and papers only because a parent or family member added them.
